There’s a marketplace issue in fundraising. Investors desire more access to private investment opportunities and the opportunities are struggling to raise capital efficiently. Yes — the perceived best investment opportunities and the richest investors generally do not struggle with capital. However, a grand majority of investors and opportunities are not satisfied with placing and raising capital.
For Investors
The Private Investing Network (PIN) is a free investor digest for accredited investors highlighting one to five new investment opportunities per month across a diversity of asset classes. In addition to sourcing and vetting opportunities, PIN provides investment minimums typically 75-95% lower than the opportunity’s typical minimum. Each digest summarizes the opportunity, has a short (10-20 minute) recorded conversation with the leader(s) of the opportunity, and provides a scheduled Q&A and presentation for investors to attend in the coming days or weeks.
Lower minimums are achieved by creating Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs) to facilitate investment transactions. PIN is transparent about the original investment minimum, and if an investor wants to meet or exceed the original minimum, PIN will facilitate this introduction at no cost and the investor can invest directly in the opportunity. PIN SPVs have industry-low fees: a one-time 2% management fee and a 5% carry.
For Companies
Expanding your network of investors facilitates and de-risks your current fundraise and future raises. PIN will evaluate your company to determine if it’s fit to raise capital from our network. If so, PIN can move fast to include you in an upcoming digest. PIN can also assist in drafting pitch materials, providing curated introductions, and fundraising strategy and compliance.
